The bases are locked together to ensure they do not separate and the mattresses zip along both the top edge and the lower edge where they but up against each other. This guarantees that the double bed is fixed firmly in place. Choose 2 x 2'6" single beds to form a 5' King size double or 2 x 3' singles to form a 6' super king double.
