Quality Furniture and Exceptional Service

After arriving in France, we spent several months searching for furniture that would suit our new home. I just couldn’t find the quality or style I was looking for in the local stores or the French websites.

Then I found Furniture for France and I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the furniture that Brian has sourced. My initial purchase was for items from the Alsace Oak Range, including two display cabinets for my lounge that are extremely unusual and eye-catching. We were so impressed with the quality of the items that I returned for a second and then a third shopping trip, mixing in items from the New Oak Range along with the Kensington Sofa and a bespoke headboard.

The quality is evident throughout all the items, and the service delivered by Brian exceptional.  Where fabric choices were needed, Brian posted fabric swatches to us. When it came to deliveries, Brian kept me updated throughout his journeys and delivered on time every time. Finally, the work Brian completed in regards of the customs formalities made the whole process easy to follow and no different to buying from any other online site.

Back at base in the UK, Brian has been very responsive in keeping us up-to-date with delivery schedules, timings, costs and process. 

We have been resident in France for the past two years and can confirm the underlying truth in Brian’s business proposition: there is simply nothing available in France of this quality at anywhere close to this price.  We also think this punches above the John Lewis Partnership in terms of price and quality, and will be asking Brian if he delivers to the UK too !

Our sleep has improved significantly

Our new Millbrook Wool 2,000 pocket mattress is giving us both a really restful sleep. With our previous mattress both my wife and I suffered from continual backache because it didn’t appear to offer us the correct level of body support. This is certainly not the case with our new Wool 2,000. It’s fair to say that the quality of our sleep has improved significantly. Another major benefit is that the cotton, wool & silk mix in the mattress acts to keep us both cool at night.

Superb service, beautiful quality furniture

We found Furniture for France opportunistically on the web and quickly realised how easy it could make our task.
Brian was extremely helpful, responding to our many email queries and finally we placed our order for Rustic Oak furniture for the séjour, kitchen and 4 bedrooms. We also ordered an L-shaped sofa and matching upholstered ‘cubes’ and cushions, aided by Brian’s advice. We needed a tight schedule for the delivery but Brian pulled out all the stops and the large delivery arrived on time the day after we moved in.
Brian unwrapped it all (and took away the wrappings) and helped us to put the furniture in place.
What service! And all with courtesy and a smile!
We are delighted with the superb appearance and quality of all the furniture and we are already planning to order an extra piece.
We would recommend Furniture for France with no hesitation. You could buy more cheaply but have less quality, less service and have to sort it all out yourself. No contest!

Exactly what you promised you would do…....

Brian, thank you for a truly fantastic service. Not only is the furniture itself great quality but the best thing was that you and Yves turned up early and did exactly what you promised you would do and when you promised you would do it. Buying furniture at several different shops and collecting and installing it myself would have taken weeks. But using the Furniture for France website meant that all I had to do was book one delivery with you and make sure I was there to meet you. It took all of the grief out of the whole process. Does exactly “what it says on the tin”! Furniture is excellent quality, delivery was to the hour (in heavy snow in the Alps, so exceeded expectations!). Cannot recommend highly enough. Of course if you like spending your time assembling flat packs, you can go elsewhere but we were delighted to be up and running with beds, tables and sofas within a few hours. FFF are a good honest company, delivering a great service

My recommendation is that FFF are a good honest company, delivering a great service. I would endorse the “why buy from FFF” section of the web page. Brian gave good advice all the way through - FFF work to your requirements. We bought furniture from the less expensive ranges and the more expensive ranges (there is a big selection). All of the furniture is really good quality. Brian and team turned up on the minute agreed and our 3 bed apartment was all furnished by mid afternoon. We went off and bought some skis and were on the slopes the next morning with our 4 children. I guess if you’ve got limitless time and budget and want to hand pick individual furnishings and wait around for them, then you may chose another option, but we are too busy and have pretty much managed to furnish our apartment around having a holiday and we are totally happy with the furniture.

Showroom condition

Fantastic quality, fantastic service.

Not only did the guys arrive on time but they offloaded, installed and removed all the packaging for a whole house worth of furniture in just 3 hours! We ordered rustic oak bedroom and lounge furniture which is large, solid and has a high quality finish. The kids pine bunk beds and chest of drawers are really good quality and sturdy enough to withstand all childrens bouncing! And then there’s the sofas, great comfort and the mattress on the sofabed is the thickest we’ve ever seen, this is as comfortable as a normal bed!! We thoroughly recommend Furniture for France for all your French furniture requirements!In fact, wish we could get them in scotland as we’ve now got better furniture in our french house than at home.

Amazing can-do approach.

We were very short of time, didn’t know quite what we wanted and didn’t have the ability to take the beds and mattresses home ourselves. No fuss!

We had a very lovely time in Nice and all the more enjoyable for having a lovely comfortable bed to sleep in!  We are both really pleased with the quality of the bed and the very comfortable mattress. Just to say thank you so much for coming to our rescue when we had been so let down by french suppliers, it was such a relief to find a really good quality product delivered on time and fully assembled with no fuss or change of arrangements.  And we know how tricky it must have been to get the bed up our narrow twisty stairs…  Brilliant service!

Going the extra mile for me

On moving to France I was let down over a furniture order made in the uk which could not be delivered on time to my removal company for shipping. So I arrived with two single beds for my property and guests arriving for Xmas. I found Furniture for France on the internet and emailed Brian on the 11th November. To say this was cutting it a bit fine was an understatement, but Brian did what he had to and my order was confirmed the very next day. The furniture and Brian duly arrived (on his own due to staff sickness) on the 20th December and yet more fun as the wardrobes had to be dismantled to get them up the stairs. I now have bedrooms with lovely Solid Pine furniture and had some very happy and comfortable guests over the Xmas period. So a huge thank you to Brian for going the extra mile for me and providing quality furniture with a personal service.

Especially pleased with the leather sofas

We have been delighted with the Fr Oak bedroom furniture and are especially pleased with the two Clandon leather sofas. The only problem is in stopping the puppy also from sharing them, we think that we are getting there though, slowly!!
